This week has been so amazing for me and i can't thank you all enough.
But another amazing thing could potentially happen tomorrow for Ireland.
Tomorrow, people in Ireland will be heading out to vote either for or against the legalisation of same sex marriage, and although I can't vote, Ireland Is such a part of my life that I couldn't not say something.
I couldn't imagine going to Ireland in a few weeks time, stepping foot off that plane knowing that a country so dear to me for many reasons had just voted "no". It will be a sad and dark place and not representative of the Ireland I know and love.
I'm asking as many of you as possible to please be my yes. For me, my best friends, my family, their best friends and family and yours.
Legalising same sex marriage is nothing to do with who or not can raise children, (same sex couples will be able to have children regardless, that law has already been passed..) and it's not going to make same sex couples who don't want to get married suddenly get married. Don't believe the propaganda! The only thing that will happen with a yes vote is that we are creating the right for everyone to have THE SAME RIGHTS. Who wouldn't want that?
If just one person reads this and goes out tomorrow to vote yes, then I've achieved something by writing it.
Let's make history tomorrow Ireland :)
