FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Michael Bublé steps in with a performance at Honour House Gala.
May 22, 2015, (Vancouver, BC) - Vancouver's own superstar Michael Bublé surprised 600 guests at the Honour House Gala this evening with an unexpected live performance.
The charity's bi-annual gala planned to feature a live performance by Canadian music sweetheart and award-winning artist Jann Arden, however a health issue prevented the singer from travelling to Vancouver to perform at the event.
"We were very sad to hear that Jann was unable to be here for the event, I know she was excited to perform at the gala and support Honour House," noted Melissa De Genova, Gala co-chair. "We are so fortunate that Michael Bublé stepped up and offered to perform in Jann's absence."
"When I heard my good friend Jann wasn't able to make it tonight, I was happy to take her place,” said Bublé. “Honour House is an important facility for our service men and women who have given so much to our country. I was honoured to be a part of the event."
