Here is an update on gig as promised yesterday:As the show at the Opera in Oslo was sold out 2 months in advance, we have set up a new show in Oslo at Rockefeller in Friday, 21st of March. It is NOT with the Opera choir, it is a "normal" Satyricon show, but we have some very interesting and exclusive things going on for it, like we always try to. There will be several Special Guests featuring together with us on stage and there might very well be some classic Satyricon songs that have never been performed live before. We'll keep you posted as these things get confirmed. A friendly warning to those of you who want to go: The last Oslo show was as stated, sold out way in advance, as were many of the shows on The European tour. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Some summer festivals are confirmed and there a few more on the way. Those confirmed are posted among the Tour Dates here and on the official website.
Now, the Department Of Homeland Security in the U.S. have changed their procedures and that means that without any warning, the processing time for someone like Frost is six months. That means that he is forced to sit out on our appearances at 70000 Tons Of Metal. We have tried everything that we can try to make it happen, but we have no choice, but to wait 6 months for his application to go through. That is how the system works now. The good news though is that we have found a worthy replacement for him for 70000 Tons Of Metal and it is someone handpicked by Frost and Satyr of course. This special guest who will help the band so we can get to do these shows have our blessing and our gratitude. We hope everyone attending our shows at 70000 Tons Of Metal appreciate that we will after all be able to make it, and that we have found an extremely competent drummer to replace another. Enjoy your weekend and stay tuned.
