By popular demand we bring you a Dad Facts - Special Edition in honor of Zach's Birthday yesterday
Zach was born in Lakewood Hospital in Tacoma, WA on April 15, 1981, and moved to Alaska when he was one. He was a terrific baby and little boy. He learned to walk at 14 months, and had memorized many Dr. Seuss books by the age of three. He played soccer as a youngster and played hockey for about ten years from the ages of 6-16. He was an outstanding defenseman and the other team rarely scored while he was on the ice.
Zach was active in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and was the president of a skateboard group that had a skateboard park built in Wasilla, AK. He also loves the out of doors and is a superb fly fisherman. One thing many people don't know about Zach is that he was a first rate archer when he was a young man.
He was and is an excellent older brother to Nick and he has more friends than anyone I know.
Zach began playing the guitar at 12, and the rest is history!
