In the countdown to their highly anticipated 14th studio album, R.E.M. will be launching “Ninety Nights”, a site which will feature 30-90 second clips shot by French film-making genius Vincent Moon (Arcade Fire, The National). Launching on January 1, NinetyNights.com will be updated daily with a new Vincent Moon clip until March 30. Each clip will be available in hi res for one day only, before being archived in low res for the remainder of the campaign.

With a career spanning an awe inspiring 27years, one of rock’s best-selling and most critically acclaimed bands, the multiple Grammy-winning R.E.M., who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, have been working on the as-yet-untitled album in Vancouver, Dublin & their hometown of Athens, Georgia. Working with producer Jacknife Lee (U2, Snow Patrol) - singer Michael Stipe, guitarist Peter Buck, and bassist Mike Mills, fans can look forward to a ‘guitar driven’ album, rich in raw energy with the impassioned lyrical content that Stipe has been hailed for.
