Delta Goodrem shows her support in the video for Simple Plan’s “Save You”

Warner Music Australia is proud to present the video for Simple Plan’s latest single, “Save You.” The inspirational video features cancer survivors from all walks of life, including Australia’s Delta Goodrem and Sharon Osborne, highlighting the reality that unfortunately no one is shielded from this disease that still affects us all.

When approached by the band to be involved in the clip, Delta Goodrem, who was recording in New York at the time, immediately agreed to show her support for such a worthy cause that has touched her life and those around her. Delta said: "It was a pleasure to be invited to support Simple Plan in their crusade to make a difference in the fight against cancer.”

‘Save You’ was penned in tribute to lead singer Pierre Bouvier’s brother Jay, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer at the age of 28. Thankfully now in remission, Bouvier’s illness inspired the band to include cancer awareness as one of the initiatives of the Simple Plan Foundation. Thus far, the Foundation has donated over $100,000 to various charitable organizations around Canada and has raised over another $200,000 at various benefit events.

Proceeds from all iTunes downloads of the charity single “Save You” will be distributed to local cancer charities in the country of the download, hopefully getting us one step closer to eradicating this disease once and for all.
