With each new album he releases, American singer-songwriter JASON MRAZ solidifies his reputation as one of contemporary pop music's most gifted storytellers. After the massive success of his first two records, Waiting For My Rocket To Come and Mr. A-Z, he took a year off to reconnect with friends and family. Then, in 2008, he reemerged with his best album to date: We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things.The new album Beautiful Mess–Live on Earth, captures Jason and his super band performing in the “Windy City,” with the Chicago skyline steady in the backdrop and sweet Lake Michigan just a few steps from the stage. The live CD/DVD from the Gratiude Café Tour at Charter One Pavilion on August 13, 2009 features many songs from Jason’s latest album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., including “I’m Yours” and “Lucky” with special guest Colbie Caillat, along with some of the older favorites and a few new songs! This special DVD, directed by Darren Doane features the full length concert never before seen bonus footage, along with a special mockumentary titled “un beau désordre.”
